Materials/Techniques: Fabric, pigma pens, fabric pastel dye sticks variegated hand quilting threads. I drew the design on paper, then fabric, added color, border and hand quilting.
Artist's Statement: The cause of this disease has to be found! Then better and more effective treatments will be found for it and hopefully prevention.
Dedication: To all those people who sat beside their mother, father, sister, brother, husband or wife and thought to themselves, "WHY ?" .
This quilt is displayed with a traditional sleeve.
