Materials/Techniques: Cotton batik fabric, fabric paint, Shiva Paintstiks, FMQ.
Artist's Statement: I was inspired to by the Kemshall book, "The Painted Quilt" to do some freezer paper stenciling. This is the practice piece for a larger similar quilt but I liked it so much I decided to donate it. It's the first time I have done this much quilting to a piece and doing it without messing it up!
