Artist's Statement: My aunt Bunty never changed much when her memory began to fade. She was sardonic, sometimes witty, and that stayed with her to the last. Some of the family didn't enjoy her, but I saw past her sharp exterior and enjoyed swapping stories. This quilt says more about the sunshine and less about the gloom in the personality of this feisty woman.
