Width: 12"   Length: 8"

Materials/Techniques: Raw Edge fused applique, Threadwork, Cut out and a little watercolor.

Artist's Statement: The phrase “forgetting piece by piece” says it all about Alzheimers. A flower keeps its beauty as the petals fall.

Dedication: The Kousa Dogwood (Cornus kousa) was a favorite of my wonderful mother-in-law, Moddy Gaston. She delighted in the spring flowers. As Alzheimers took her away, she kept love of her garden.
