Artist's Statement: The phrase “forgetting piece by piece” says it all about Alzheimers. A flower keeps its beauty as the petals fall.
Dedication: The Kousa Dogwood (Cornus kousa) was a favorite of my wonderful mother-in-law, Moddy Gaston. She delighted in the spring flowers. As Alzheimers took her away, she kept love of her garden.
