Bartlett, TN USAWidth:
Original design created in response to the Priority Hope challenge issued by Tonya Ricucci of LazyGal Quilting (http://lazygalhope.blogspot.com/).Artist's Statement:
Hope is truly an essential ingredient for families affected by Alzheimer's. "In the stillness of the quiet, if we listen, we can hear the whisper of the heart giving strength to weakness, courage to fear, hope to despair." (Howard Thurman).
In memory of my mother (1916-2005). No matter how cold the Michigan winter had been, she was full of hope for the tiny white star flowers, crocuses, and daffodils that poked their noses up through the melting snow every spring.
