Materials/Techniques: Scrap quilt with over 100 different fabrics, none except the white and blacks are repeated. Finished block size is 3” with 29 patches.
Artist's Statement: This is a traditional block that I saw in a magazine years ago and kept. Since then I have pieced a couple of quilts with 3” blocks placed in a four by six configuration. I can’t seem to find the origin of the block, but have searched out a number of variations. I still like this one the best.
Dedication: To the inventive quilters who keep the tradition of using old blocks in new and different ways.
