I love having fresh flowers in the home, especially roses. My husband would surprise me with a carnation from time to time, and he would often say, "If I could, I would give you 'a rose each day." Today he surprises me with roses often.
The loss of memory of an Alzheimer's patient is devastating to the patient and their families. Sometimes a sound, a picture, a word or a scent can bring back beloved memories. If I could, I would bring back long lost memories of patients with Alzheimer's with each rose.
