Artist's Statement: Heart-shaped doilies left a light impression on the solar painted fabric. The completed design reminded me of confection hearts that you get at Valentine's Day. As I made the piece, I thought of all those who I remember and cherish, because they will stay in my heart forever.
Dedication: For Ami Simms and all she does to promote AAQI. Her energy amazes me.
