Materials/Techniques: The background is created with color wax pastel rubbings, colored threads, foils and tulle.
Artist's Statement: The fabric reminded me of the beauty around us, above and below the sea. The gingko leaf rubbing in the center is lest we forget those we have loved.
Dedication: To Lisa’s Charlie who passed away early this year from Alzheimer’s. She was a selfless caregiver.
This quilt is displayed with a traditional sleeve.
