Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabrics. Traditionally pieced log cabin blocks with ¼ inch logs overlaid with fused roses. Border print outer edge.
Artist's Statement: The light center of the four log cabin blocks is highlighted with triangle corners accenting the division between light and dark. Using the same colors in each block gives the roses a “frame” on the light background.
Dedication: Both my father and his father raised roses and this quilt is dedicated to the memory of them.
