Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric and piping filler; modified bargello with piping separators, machine quilted.
Artist's Statement: The quilt depicts a Texas scene, therefore the name of the quilt. However, with Alzheimer's patients, whatever they love is locked deep in their heart and they are no longer able to express that love.

Dedication: For my Dad, Edward LeDoux, who loved his family, his garden, his hobbies, his state and his nation, all of which got locked deep in his heart by the end of his bout with this terrible disease.
