Materials/Techniques: Hand painted fabric background. Everything else is made with fused scraps. Quilted with clear Monofil. Added purchased biker charms.
Artist's Statement: My three brothers are all avid bikers and have biked to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis a couple years now and two of them ride in the Rockies as often as they can (one is out there right now as a matter of fact and another broke his collarbone in a crash out there about a month ago!). Pictures they took out there plus the Tour being on TV was the reason for the biker quilt series. More to come!
