Artist's Statement: I combined my love of photography, quilts, and Texas wildflowers to make this quilt.

Dedication: To my mother, LouVica Alexander, who was in the early stages of Alzheimer's when she died. She liked to take a day trip to the Texas Hill Country to see the wild flowers in the spring.
