Materials/Techniques: 100% Cotton fabric and needled cotton batting; machine pieced and joined on 3 sides. Hand stitched on one side and hand-tied.
Artist's Statement: I come from a long line of quilters, and this was my first project. It is bright and fun and should remind us all to just relax and enjoy our days; imperfection is natural and sure makes the world a lot more exciting.
Dedication: in loving memory of my grandmother (Unclemom) who inspired my mother and I to quilt and to my husband's grandmother (Grandma Jennie) who lost her battle with Alzheimer's before I had the privilege of meeting her.
