Materials/Techniques: Cotton, die cut fusible appliqué with buttonhole stitch, machine quilting, variegated thread, yo-yo, beads, stenciled shadows.
Artist's Statement: This small quilt was a great way to experiment with die cutting fabric. The dragonfly appliqué inspired the quilting; the textural nature of the black and white reminded me of a basket.
Dedication: To the caregivers of Alzheimer's patients.
