Width: 8.75"   Length: 11.75"

Materials/Techniques: Cotton orphan block; stitch and flip method on cotton backing and cotton batting, machine quilted, bias binding.

Artist's Statement: : The use of an orphan block and scraps from another project is two fold. First, being thrifty is important to me, and secondly, the inclusion of things 'left out' of another project visits the idea of things lost and found. The Iris is a flower that represents the connections between the present and the after life, a positive walk in the garden of life.

This quilt is displayed with Fast Finish Triangles.

This quilt earned $40.00 for the AAQI.
