Artist's Statement: My uncle, who loves the Fall, enjoys watching the leaves falling as if they are floating in rhythm of an unheard lifesong. He called me over to follow the dance of two leaves, fallen from different trees, yet in sync until they reached their destination. "That's me and your aunt," he tells me. "Different, but the same, together in life's winds, reaching out to cling to one another in our fall." Her fall was called death; his is named Alzheimer's. And they clung to one another until they reached her destination.
Peggy Trickler Dedication: For my uncle and aunt, whose journey together was a blessing.
