Artist's Statement: This is a replica of a larger quilt made for my dad in 1995 called "The Habitat".
Dedication: To our dad, Edward LeDoux, who loved to fish and hunt and who could do anything! The original quilt was a landscape filled with animals and fish but since we lost him to Alzheimer's disease in 2001. I feel like the landscape should be empty now.
