Beaumont, TX   USA

Width: 12"   Length: 9"

Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabrics with ruler free, intuitive piecing.

Artist's Statement: Alzheimer's is such an ugly disease. My dear friend's mother was a professional seamstress and drapery maker. One day she was found crying in her studio with the fabric for a set of draperies spread out before her. When asked why she was crying, she replied, "I can't remember how to do this."

Dedication: This piece is dedicated to those who still have it in them but can't quite figure out how to get it out.

This quilt has a plain back.

This quilt earned $50 for the AAQI.
