Materials/Techniques: Machine pieced reversible quilt, two quilts in one!
Artist's Statement: Reversible with the blue floral fabric representing the hallways of a nursing home where a special Alzheimer's patient roams to and from. Musical fabric used in representation and appliquéd heart to portray some characteristic results of Alzheimer's disease.
Dedication: My husband remembers his mother, Bea Pittman Harvey, always singing hymns as she worked around the house. Now she is the special Alzheimer's patient who roams the hallways of a nursing home softly humming scratches of the hymns whose words are now locked within her heart.
