Artist's Statement: I work at Nancy's Quilt Shop in Las Vegas. We die cuts quilts. 1" pieces are discarded. I pick them up tomake something pretty. Symbolically, to me, they represent the pieces of loved ones that will one day become beautiful and whole in another life.
