Artist's Statement: I am planning to make my son Douglas Craig a new quilt with an oriental theme. This was a practice for a possible pattern.

Dedication: Douglas, and his sister Marlo, have had family members on both sides of their family that had Alzheimer's. I'm praying that a cure or treatment will be found long before either of them need to worry about getting the disease.
