Materials/Techniques: Hand quilted with embroidery flosses.

Artist's Statement: The fourth PQ that I made was named “Star Light, Star Bright” (#431). Now, Star Light, Star Bright II showcases another of Marcia’s star quilt block patterns. I love this starry quote by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow:

“Silently, one by one, in the infinite meadows of heaven, Blossomed the lovely stars, the forget-me-nots of the angels.”

And this quote by an unknown author fits so well for those who are living through a journey with Alzheimer’s: “When love is lost, do not bow your head in sadness; instead keep your head up high and gaze at the stars, for that is where your broken heart has been sent to heal”.
