Materials/Techniques: Batik fabrics, cotton batting, rayon threads; machine piecing, machine quilting/thread painting.
Artist's Statement: The quilt itself is a miniature version of a Ricky Tims’ Convergence quilt. The coneflowers are machine quilted/thread painted on the quilt. It takes order, structure, and organization to make a Ricky Tims’ Convergence quilt. ALL of these disappear in the life of one suffering from Alzheimer’s.
