Materials/Techniques: Hand marbled fabric, beads.
Artist's Statement: This is one of the pieces I made in a hand marbling class. I quilted the marble lines and then added beads for contrast and texture. I think the large green bead section looks like an insect, hence the name of "Beetle".

Dedication: For my three co-workers who are dealing with parents at different stages of Alzheimer's, something I hope my children never have to deal with.
