Materials/Techniques: Hand dyed and commercial fabric, Angelina, threads.
Artist's Statement: I used water-soluble stabilizer and layered my thread ends that I have been saving, and then heavily stitched over all the threads. After washing out the stabilizer, I cut this thread-fabric into shapes and birthed my star. I laid Angelina on my background, stitched my star to the background, and quilted the whole thing.

Dedication: For my three co-workers who are dealing with parents at different stages of Alzheimer's, something I hope my children never have to deal with.
This quilt is displayed with a hanging ring.
