Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric; raw edge appliqué, machine quilting.
Artist's Statement: The hand-dyed background fabric had such an autumn feel to it, and pumpkins always make me think of autumn. I challenged myself to incorporate perspective and dimension in this piece. The shading on the pumpkins adds dimension, and the fence adds perspective.

Dedication: For my three co-workers who are dealing with parents at different stages of Alzheimer's, something I hope my children never have to deal with.
