Materials/Techniques: Synthetic and cotton fabric; crocheted grapes using rayon thread, silk fabric leaves.
Artist's Statement: I've had this rayon thread for a long time and it is too thick to use in my sewing machine, however it was the perfect colors for grapes. I crocheted circles of varying sizes for the grapes. To get the right shape for the grape leaves, I picked one from the grapevine in my yard and reduced it by several factors. The green silk fabric I had was perfect for the leaves. Makes me think of wine country.

Dedication: For my three co-workers who are dealing with parents at different stages of Alzheimer's, something I hope my children never have to deal with.
This quilt is displayed with a hanging ring.
This quilt earned $102.50 for the AAQI.
