I made two quilts with the same design. “Before Alzheimer's” depicts when your life is vibrant, your mind as clear as a starry night, and you still have dreams and reach for the stars.
This quilt is my tribute to my father, Floyd "Woody" Woodburn, who suffered from Alzheimer's for four years. "Before Alzheimer's" represents him as still being a thinking, dreaming, man.
