Artist's Statement: This quilt is in memory of Miss Millie, who died from Alzheimer's. Over 22 years ago she was my two sons' preschool teacher. I chose to remember her with stacked blocks that come tumbling down. I've written on the quilt the phrase "and the blocks come tumbling down."
