Materials/Techniques: Cotton crazy quilt heart “pocket” on cotton backing; hand embroidered with hand-dyed floss.
Artist's Statement: The heart is a pocket with a button and loop closure. It holds 1" x 2" acid free cards on which you may write the blessings in your life. There’s an old song called “Count Your Blessings.” I think it’s important to do that once in awhile.
