Artist's Statement: I frequently feel that I have a mind like a “steel sieve.” That frustration is the inspiration for this quilt that illustrates how I think a person in the early stages of Alzheimer’s must feel…perplexed, annoyed, frightened, and worried about “brain leakage.”
