Jan Johnson
Wakefield, NE USAWidth: 8.675"
Length: 10.75"
Materials/Techniques: Commercial cotton fabrics; fused appliqué,.
Artist's Statement: I am an avid bird watcher and warm weather person. I live in a 4 seasons area of the U.S. and hate the thought of winter arriving soon. So I made a quilt to look forward to the first Robin’s eggs of spring being laid to make me think that spring isn’t all that far away.
Jan Johnson Dedication: Two of my mother’s siblings suffered from Alzheimer’s/dementia and took them from her and their families all too soon.
