Artist's Statement: As a child I spent many happy hours playing in the leaves with my sister and cousins. Those were simpler days when children could have fun with nothing more than a pile of leaves and a rake. We burned the leaves and enjoyed the wonderful smell with no worries about air pollution. I really miss those days, and my mother.
