Designer: Design is based on black & white line drawings from TREASURY OF FLOWER DESIGNS FOR ARTISTS, EMBROIDERERS AND CRAFTSMEN by Susan Gaber. I have copied the page that covers the right to use designs copyright free and will include the copy with the quilt.

Materials/Techniques: The flower is colored with Tsukineko Ink and the stylized lettering, spelling "Peace," is made from commercial fabric and appliquéd on to the background. It is machine quilted and hand beaded. It is piped and bound using the Susan Cleveland's Piping Hot Binding method and tool. The binding and backing are made from fabric folded and painted with Setacolor fabric paint.

Artist's Statement: Using several techniques in one piece makes it fun to do!
