Materials/Techniques: Hand dyed cotton tablecloth, cotton drop cloth; machine quilting with various threads and a bit of hand embroidery.
Artist's Statement: Having roots in a home or a community is important to me. This is one in many variations I'm exploring. Roots factor largely with Alzheimer's as well, so it seemed appropriate to donate this quilt.
Dedication: For to my father-in-law, Bob LaFlamme, who bravely battled Alzheimer's for 8 years.
This quilt is displayed with a traditional sleeve.
