Materials/Techniques: I hand painted the background night sky fabric. Free motion top stitching on all cotton fabric.
Artist's Statement: As I hiked along one day I noticed a lone branch just hanging from the rock. What a sense of desolate majesty. For those who feel so alone, just hanging on, to the small piece of world, that is all they have sometimes.
