Artist's Statement: This is a pretty conventional 9-patch, yet reflects my rebellious nature, my personal style. I love to mix eras!

Dedication: I dedicate this little piece to my favorite quilt author, Roberta Horton. Her term "casually off grain" in her book Plaids and Stripes gave me permission to be "off." I was already doing it — and more than a little casually, but the permission was just what I needed. Thanks, Roberta!
