Lakewood, WA USA
Width: 9" Length: 12"
Materials/Techniques: Hand appliquéd and machine quilted with trapunto and embellished with rhinestones and batting.
Artist Statement: We can choose to view life’s situations as a glass being either half-full or half-empty. My view of Alzheimer’s is to believe the glass is half-full. We’ve come a long way in our understanding of this disease, it’s causes and treatments. So let’s fill our glasses and celebrate how far we’ve come in conquering this malady. Then back to work, we still have more to do!
Dedication: I dedicate this to Lance Hulleman, good friend and former neighbor, whose glass of life is being drained by Alzheimer’s.
