Width: 8.75" Length: 12"
Materials/Techniques: Machine pieced and quilted. I used a freezer paper template for the branch with Shiva paint sticks, thinned out paint, and finished with hand embroidery.
Artist Statement: This was made to use pieces from a fat quarter pack to see how I could get the green, purple and red to work together. I also experimented with paint sticks, hand and machine stitching. It was a lot of fun in the making.
Dedication: To George and Edith Willard.
This quilt has a Split Sleeve.
This quilt earned $55 for the AAQI.
