Artist Statement: One of the tragedies of Alzheimer's is the profound loss of cognition as it relates to personal interactions, as if someone turned off all the lights. This quilt was made for the Dallas Fiber Artists AAQI challenge "Connections."
Dedication: In memory of Col. (Ret) Thomas E. Peters, my father-in-law.
