Dear Ami and friends:

I received Quilt # 1459 " I'm Just Trying to Keep my Head Above Water" ( by Mary K. Beard) in the mail today and it couldn't have come at a better time.

Having recently lost my stepfather to Alzheimer's after a seven year struggle, we are now trying to keep both my 92 year old Mum's and my head above water, along with my 90 year old inlaws. Mary's quiltie said it all and I know I will derive great pleasure and strength from it on a daily basis. It makes me smile!

My special thanks to Mary and to you Ami for the wonderful work you are doing to bring awareness to Alzheimer's and for the amazing fund raising you have done.
