Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric, cotton hand-crocheted lace, vintage buttons; machine pieced and quilted.
Artist's Statement: A pastel, traditional piece embellished with lace crocheted by my mother back when she could remember how to crochet. This lace was used to edge a pillowcase and has been recycled now that the pillowcase has torn and worn out. The buttons are from her button-box.
Dedication: Dedicated to my mother, whose dreams are fading along with her memories.
