Materials/Techniques: The top is pieced as one inch squares from mostly vintage cotton. The batting is washable wool and the binding is satin. All the stitching is done by machine except for the back of the binding.

Artist Statement: After my mother died from Alzheimer's, my father and I started quilting. We made 17 nine-patch quilts and this is the last of her stash. The series of three quilts represent the increase in plaque cells, which interrupt the function of the grey cells.
