Materials/Techniques: I made a piece with school glue as resist and then painted it with Neo Color II crayons and water, then washed out the school glue. It hung around for some time and then I cut it up. Then it hung around for some time and then I put it with some other fabrics and it hung around for some time. Then I laid it on a black background and it fell into place in a few minutes. I had already free-motion quilted the circles on the colored fabric so I just used a stitch I call bird feet to apply those pieces to the background then added more bird feet on the background spaces. I used metallic thread for all of that. It has four triangle corners so you can hang it any direction you want. It makes me happy. Hope it does that for you.
