Materials/Techniques: All materials except the batting, thread,& tulle covering the authentic stamp, are from Pakistan. The paisley fabric & buttons are from an old shalwar kurta, Pakistani dress, of mine.
Artist's Statement: I love being involved with this project. It always feels good when I come out of my sewing room carrying the minis to send off. I don’t have time to volunteer at a hospital or food pantry- but I can squeeze a little time in during the evening to create a mini. Try it!
Dedication: To my brother and sister-in-law, Anwar and Alia, and their three beautiful daughters in Pakistan. Miss you.
