Materials/Techniques: Made from batik fabrics in 1/2 inch squares and lightly quilted with clear thread.

Artist Statement: I started this quilt as sort of an Indian design with colors not often associated with Indian art. As usual my family was quizzed about a name for it. None of the offerings fit my idea, but then I thought of the name Wahoo, for "Chief Wahoo" the logo for the Cleveland Indians baseball team. He probably needs a blanket.
