JoAnn Stowell
Longview, WA USA
Width: 11" Length: 8"
Materials/Techniques: I drew on black cloth with white oil pastels. Then I free motion quilted it with white metallic thread. It is thread signed.
Artist Statement: My brother has a log cabin on 25 acres. He took this picture on a snowy day and I have always wondered how I could draw it. This is my rendition of his photo. He has a winery there and makes cider from the old apple orchard on the property. The road is Eaglemount and that is also the name of the winery.

Dedication: To my mother and my two friends, Barbara and Ele' who are great caregivers. Bless all the caregivers.
This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
Note: About 1/2" along the bottom of the quilt is unstitched. It looks as though the front layer was not caught after the quilt was turned right-side out and the un-sewn edge whip-stitched closed. Sold as is.
