Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric, sky is hand painted, fused appliqué, Tsukineko inks and Shiva paint sticks create this lighthouse scene. It is machine quilted, piped, signed and traditionally bound.

Artist Statement: A lighthouse beacon is the guidance for sailors using the waterway. A father provides the guidance for his children.

Dedication: Dedicated in memory of Bob Kelly who was both a sailor and a father of 6 boys.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
