Materials/Techniques: I used denim, felt and cotton, sewing the individual pieces on to the 'jeans' and then sewing the 'jeans' to the background. I then added the red and white backing and used a traditional quilt binding.

Artist Statement: Because of my father's illness our whole family suffered at his distress. This project has appealed to me to help find a cure.
